Howth is served by the Dart which starts at Howth station and goes into the city centre (Connolly station, Tara Street station)and down the east coast through Bray as far as Greystones in Wicklow.
The service runs from 06.30 to 11.30 and a dart leaves every 20-30 minutes depending on time of day.
For journeys outside of Dublin Iarnród Éireann is the national rail service. Its a good service and can get you to most parts of the country in just a few hours. It has two main stations Connolly and Heuston.
